Overview
This page explains how to request deletion of your RaDa account (Agent or Farmer app, package IDs com.greenstemglobal.turada.agent and com.greenstemglobal.turada.farmer) and associated personal data. RaDa is developed and operated by RADA SAT SVC LTD, a Kenyan company registered in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
We honour all deletion requests in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including the EU GDPR and the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — Email us
Send an email from your sign-in address to rada@radaintelligence.com with subject “Account Deletion Request”. Include:
- The email address used to sign in
- Which app you used — RaDa Agent or RaDa Farmer
- Optionally, any farm ID or registration reference
Confirmation occurs within 3 business days; deletion completes within 30 days.
Option 2 — In-app (rolling out)
Future releases will enable direct account deletion: Settings → Account → Delete Account, performing identical deletion without email contact.
What gets deleted
Permanent erasure includes:
- Account credentials (Firebase Auth record, Google OAuth identifier, email, display name)
- Profile data (name, phone number, onboarding information)
- Farm records (boundaries, pixel maps, metadata identifying you as owner)
- Observations & captures (disease photos, field reports, calibration captures)
- Uploaded media (all photos in cloud storage under your account)
- Diagnostic logs (device identifiers, sync logs linked to your user ID)
What may be retained
Limited data may persist in anonymised or aggregated form:
- Aggregated satellite telemetry tied to farm polygon (not personally) for research and model training, with personal identifiers removed.
- Anonymised crop-disease observations for improving agricultural models, stripped of personal and precise-location identifiers.
- Legal and audit records where required by law (minimum data for the mandated retention period).
Users may opt out of anonymised research retention by explicitly stating so in the deletion request.
Timeline
- Acknowledgement — within 3 business days of request
- Account deactivation — immediate upon verification; sign-in becomes impossible
- Data erasure — completed within 30 days
- Backup purge — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups up to 90 days, then permanently overwritten
